Dear Family & Friends,
There are 19 days left until the breast cancer race on October 23rd. Unfortunately, I’m unable to run this year because of a heel spur which I’m in therapy for that prohibits me from running for 2 months. It’s very humbling, and yet I’m so very grateful to be thriving at 54 as my Lord and Savior has gifted me with 13 years of being cancer free! Although I’m not participating as a runner, I am registered and would love all of you who can, to donate in my name on the link provided. It is a gift of life to someone who might not have a life because they couldn’t afford a screening. I will never forget going in for my screening which caught my cancer through early detection. I was recently reminded of how important breast health is when my 22-year-old daughter needed testing. Praise God she is fine but it keeps me motivated and determined to do my part in ending this deadly disease. I have set a personal goal of $500.00. I appreciate all of you who have consistently donated over the years and to those who have prayed. You are ALL making a difference as we stay in the fight for a cure!
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” 2 Timothy 4:7
